"The aim of the Gosnells Obedience Dog Club is to promote and encourage responsible ownership of dogs through education and training and to provide the opportunity for dogs to socialize with other dogs in a properly controlled environment."

"A dog is a friend for life!"

When you register with the club you will be given information about what class you will be in and where on the grounds that class will be held.

If your dog has behaviour issues, such as aggression to other dogs or people, it will require an assessment by the Head Trainer on its eligibility to be put into a class.

Our classes are designed to encourage the training of your dog using positive rewards.
Our instructors will actively encourage you to have fun with your dog during the training process, strengthening the relationship that you have with your dog.
Problems that may arise over and above general training can be dealt with by an instructor experienced in behavioural training.

CLASSES

We have different class levels for basic obedience which all cater to the needs of the pet owner.
Classes 1 & 2 primarily deal with attention and control, whilst introducing the basic obedience exercises.
Classes 3 & 4 continue on with the exercises taught in the earlier classes and introduce more advance work all designed to mould your pooch into the model canine companion

The puppy class is an ideal class to start your puppy training. The class is 30 minutes duration and is divided into 3 parts: socialisation; basic puppy obedience; and fun 'n' games.

The Puppy Class is designed to make sure that your puppy learns to socialise with other dogs and humans properly.

There are many undesirable behaviour problems that are a result of little or no socialising as a puppy. Socialising is important because the puppy learns how to interact with people, other dogs, and his environment.

Our Puppy Classes are conducted by our very experienced instructors who have a special interest in puppy behaviour and training.
